Salary Information:

The salary for this role is estimated to be between £27,425 and £40,369 per annum.

About the Role:Job Description:

This role involves providing effective teaching and learning development for students with learning disabilities in groups or on an individual basis. The primary duties include:

  • Leading a group of students with Moderate entry level learning needs on the Introduction to Creative Industries course.
  • Supporting the department's internal Quality Assurance processes and preparing accredited work for sampling.
  • Teaching English and maths at Entry and level 1, including preparing students for functional skills qualifications.
  • Tracking and monitoring students' EHCP targets over time and supporting RARPA processes.
Essential Qualifications/Requirements:
  1. A Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS) or equivalent qualification.
  2. A Level 4+ qualification in either Subject Specific Specialism (Creative subject, art, drama, music, media) or Diploma in Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) L5 – L7.
