About the Role:

As a Countermeasure Development Engineer, you will be part of our Electronic Warfare Support Group (EWOS) at MASS, a global technology company providing advanced digital services for secure organisations. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and support countermeasure development, engineering support, and delivery, as well as contributing to internal initiatives related to innovation and research, projects, training, and bid delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain our in-house countermeasure simulation software tool, CounterWorX, focusing on modeling physical interactions and phenomena across dynamic simulations.
  • Collaborate with our software development team to ensure seamless integration and adherence to the assurance process for all releasable software products.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their challenges and requirements, providing technical advice and support to meet their needs.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the team, including mentoring junior team members and staying up-to-date with new technologies and their applications within the EW domain.
Requirements:
  • Hold a degree in a STEM subject, preferably in Mathematics, Physics, or Electronics.
  • Have experience using programming software, such as MATLAB/Simulink/Python.
  • Have experience in at least one stage of model development, including design, build, integration, test, and deployment.
