Join our Electronic Warfare Support Group (EWOS) as a Graduate Countermeasure Development Engineer and embark on a challenging and rewarding career journey. As a member of our Countermeasure Development team, you will play a crucial role in providing technical advice and support to our customers, developing in-house countermeasure simulation software tools, and collaborating with our software development team.

About the Role

As a Graduate Countermeasure Development Engineer, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in Physics/Mathematical principles, Electro-Optics (EO), Infra-Red (IR), or Radio Frequency (RF) sensors, and countermeasure techniques. You will work on real-world scenarios, analyzing, designing, modeling, and verifying countermeasure techniques, and delivering solutions to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and design countermeasure techniques using MATLAB, Python, and Simulink
  • Develop and maintain in-house countermeasure simulation software tools
  • Collaborate with our software development team to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions
  • Provide technical advice and support to customers on countermeasure development and engineering
  • Contribute to internal initiatives related to innovation, research, projects, training, and bid delivery
Requirements
  • Degree in a STEM subject (Mathematics, Physics, or Electronics)
  • Experience using programming software (MATLAB, Simulink, Python, etc.)
  • Understanding of the engineering development life cycle
