Job Title: Countermeasure Development Engineer

MASS Consultants is seeking a skilled Countermeasure Development Engineer to join our Electronic Warfare Support Group (EWOS). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining countermeasure simulation software, working closely with our software development team and ensuring the assurance process for all releasable software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain countermeasure simulation software, including modelling physical interactions and phenomena across dynamic simulations.
  • Collaborate with our software development team to ensure seamless integration and deployment of models.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and provide technical advice and support.
  • Contribute to the development of new technologies and their application within the EW domain.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a STEM subject, ideally in Mathematics, Physics, or Electronics.
  • Experience using programming software, such as MATLAB, Simulink, or Python.
  • Understanding of modelling techniques, including stochastic, deterministic, and exploratory models.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.

Security Clearance:

Due to the highly secure nature of the projects, you must be a UK National and eligible to work in the UK, and eligible to obtain and maintain a UK Government Security Check (SC) clearance.
