Cardiology Intervention Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cardiology Intervention Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals Dorset. As a Senior PCI Fellow, you will receive dedicated high-intensity training in interventional cardiology and work alongside experienced professionals in the field.The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of General Cardiology experience and first operator experience in coronary intervention. This position may also be suitable for trainees who are already in an SpR/ST7 position or have completed their CCT in Cardiology.

• Conducting advanced procedures in interventional cardiology
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide exceptional patient care
• Participating in audit and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• MRCP (UK) or equivalent qualification
• At least 3 years general medical experience post-qualification and relevant experience in cardiology
• Strong technical skills, including manual dexterity and independent angiogram operation
• Exposure to complex PCI as a 1st Operator (desirable)
Compensation: The salary for this role is estimated to be around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
