About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Dementia Adviser. As a valued member of our organisation, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised support to people diagnosed with dementia and their carers.

Working in a community-based setting in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by dementia. This rewarding role involves offering tailored support, guidance, and information to individuals and their families, helping them maintain their independence and improve their overall well-being.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing support and signposting to people affected by dementia, families, and carers.
  • Improving people's sense of well-being and enabling them to take control of their lives.
  • Assisting with the identification of needs and providing access to relevant services.

As a successful candidate, you will possess excellent communication skills, a genuine passion for supporting others, and the ability to adapt your approach to meet the diverse needs of our service users. You will also be comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by dementia. We offer a competitive salary range of £32,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.
