Dandara Living seeks a Resident Support Specialist to support the Senior Resident Services Associate in the day-to-day operations of our Build to Rent development at Leodis Square in Leeds. This dynamic role requires someone who can deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for residents and guests.

Job Summary:

As a Resident Support Specialist, you will work closely with the Senior Resident Services Associate to ensure the smooth operation of our residential community. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing top-notch customer service to residents and guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
  • Assisting with parcel delivery and collection services, maintaining a secure and efficient system.
  • Handling resident and guest enquiries, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Managing bookings for resident amenity spaces, ensuring seamless usage and availability.
  • Conducting move-in appointments, inventories, and meter readings for new residents, providing a comprehensive welcome experience.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed inventories, conducting regular inspections to ensure resident homes are well cared for.
  • Logging maintenance issues and coordinating with the team to resolve problems promptly.
  • Issuing keys for new move-ins and managing key replacements as needed, ensuring secure access to resident homes.
  • Maintaining communal spaces, keeping them clean, presentable, and inviting for residents and their guests.
  • Managing vehicle parking records and addressing noise complaints, escalating if necessary.
  • Updating site-wide communications and the residents' portal with relevant information.
  • Assisting with open days, resident events, and community-building activities, fostering a sense of community among residents.
  • Conducting security walks as required to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Collaborating with the wider team to cover additional shifts when needed, promoting a collaborative work environment.
  • Updating inventory feedback and ensuring any issues are addressed promptly.

About the Role:

  • This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as experience with booking systems or databases.
  • A strong understanding of health and safety requirements on site is essential for this position.
  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service to enhance our residents' experience.
  • ARLA, IRPM, or COSHH qualifications are desirable, but training will be provided.
