Job Title: Urban Planning Specialist

  We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Town Planner to join our client's successful and expanding team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in conducting research and analysis related to land use, zoning regulations, and development proposals with expertise in urban planning principles.
  • Evaluate planning applications and documents for compliance with local regulations and guidelines with strong analytical skills.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and regulatory agencies to achieve project goals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and recommendations for clients and stakeholders with proficiency in GIS and planning software.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of urban planning strategies that enhance the quality of life for residents and businesses alike.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, or a related field is essential for this role.
  • A strong passion for urban planning and community development is crucial for success in this position.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent research and analytical skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience with GIS and planning software is a significant advantage.

  Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
