Job Title: No. 2 Technician

At Prodrive, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced No. 2 Technician to join our Rally Raid team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for preparing cars, spares, and equipment for competition, ensuring they're delivered on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out work competently and within the times laid down by the No. 1 Technician/Chief Technician.
  • Keep the No. 1 Technician informed at all times of any additional work necessary on a car during build or repair.
  • Perform On-Event and workshop maintenance as required by No1/Chief Technician.
  • Ensure car is always to the correct specification.
  • Adopt safe working practices at all times in compliance with Health and Safety regulations and company policy, drawing to the attention of the Chief Technician any matter of concern relating to safety of equipment or safety procedures they cannot resolve.
  • Carry out other adhoc duties requested by the Team management as the needs of the business may from time to time dictate.
Requirements:
  • A strong ability to understand and interpret the build specification of a full car set up, and the ability to follow build and operational procedures accurately.
  • Rally experience is preferred but not essential.
  • A team player with good communication skills, able to work effectively with teammates and engineers.
  • Good attention to detail and a flexible approach, with the ability to work overtime as dictated by the demands of the business.
