Senior Clinical Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As an ACP, you will work as an autonomous practitioner in all areas of the Emergency Department, adult or paediatrics, depending on your portfolio evidence.
About the Role:
This is a full-time post with an estimated salary of £62,000 - £83,000 per annum, based on location and experience. You will be expected to work a variety of shifts, including days, weekends, and nights, as required to fulfil the ACP role. The post will be cross-site at the John Radcliffe Emergency Department and the Horton General Hospital Emergency Department.
Main Responsibilities:
As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:
- Working as an autonomous practitioner in all areas of the Emergency Department
- Providing high-quality patient care, based on clinical acumen and practical procedural skills
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent care
- Participating in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a relevant field, such as nursing or medicine
- An MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent
- Proven experience in emergency medicine, with a strong understanding of clinical governance and quality improvement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
