We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Housing First team as a Housing Sustainability Officer.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a busy and exciting team that provides intensive support to people experiencing homelessness and sleeping rough in Sheffield.

The Role

We work with people throughout the homelessness process and into their own settled accommodation, assisting them with rehousing, tenancy sustainment, help with income support, managing appointments and engaging with other services in the city.

A key aspect of the role involves working with internal and external partners in a multi-agency focused approach to fully understand the holistic needs of the person.

You will be working in a team with skilled and experienced officers and managers who would be on hand to support you.

What We're Looking For

To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate a clear person-centred focus, with an ability to prioritise and organise your work.

We need excellent communicators who work well on their own initiative but are also flexible team players.

It is essential to be resilient and hardworking, with a keenness to learn and a dynamic attitude.
