We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to join our Housing First team as a Housing Sustainability Officer.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a busy and exciting team that provides intensive support to people experiencing homelessness and sleeping rough in Sheffield.

The Role

As a Housing Sustainability Officer, you will work with internal and external partners to fully understand the holistic needs of individuals and provide flexible support to help them achieve their goals.

You will be responsible for visiting and engaging with clients in their homes, day centres, and on the street, using a trauma-informed approach to understand their experiences and provide tailored support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to identify their strengths, goals, and aspirations and develop personalized support plans
  • Provide flexible support to help clients achieve their goals, including assistance with rehousing, tenancy sustainment, and income support
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure a holistic approach to supporting clients
  • Use a trauma-informed approach to understand the experiences of clients and provide sensitive support
