About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join our team in Banwell. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing setting out and engineering control on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in creating a safe working environment and coordinate site engineering control and setting out activities.
  • Provide information to operatives and subcontractors, complete diary sheets, and undertake material reconciliations.
  • Ensure all surveying equipment is calibrated, carry out as-built surveys, and produce D and D site sketches.
  • Assist in maintaining quality records, ensuring all works are undertaken in accordance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), and maintaining as-built records.
  • Assist in basic planning, monitoring, and programming, and control and minimize waste on site.
  • Identify and assist in introducing new processes, techniques, and innovations on site.
  • Ensure all company property under your control is taken care of and stored securely when not in use.
About You
  • You will have the ability to work safely, read and interpret data and drawings, and have advanced setting out techniques.
  • You will have relevant Civil Engineering experience, preferably in Highways, Rail, water, or aviation, and proven leadership and delegation skills.
  • You will be flexible, have problem-solving skills, and hold NVQ Level or higher, SMSTS, and relevant CSCS card.
  • You will have office expertise and CAD skills.
