Job Title: Head of Community Management

At Haverhill Community Sports Association, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our community football development plan. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering our community football development plan, recruiting, training, and developing staff and volunteer coaches, and growing additional community health and wellbeing activities within the local area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead on the delivery of our community football development plan
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff and volunteer coaches
  • Grow additional community health and wellbeing activities within the local area
  • Manage efficient day-to-day operations of all Football in the community provisions at The New Croft Foundation
  • Provide football development support and advice to our grassroots football provision and wider community
  • Support and lead in providing excellent sporting facilities, increasing physical activity on The New Croft site
  • Lead on the Foundations fundraising strategy, supporting both growth and opportunity
Requirements:
  • A passion for sports, leisure, and community facilities
  • Excellent IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial analysis
  • A good knowledge of the work and role of The New Croft Foundation and Haverhill Community Sports Association (HCSA)
  • Practiced at developing networks and relationships with a variety of stakeholders to support the delivery of strategic priorities
  • A UEFA B (or working towards) or above coaching qualification
