**What you will need**
- A strong professional track record of working in partnership to make a real difference to local communities.
- Excellent relationship building, communicating and influencing skills.
- An in-depth understanding of community development approaches.
- Experience, or an awareness of, working in a political environment.
- Working knowledge of working directly with children and young people and/or with services who support them, would be beneficial.
