About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Senior Executive Compensation Specialist to join our team on a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract. As Head of Reward and Share Plans, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our Group's share plans, including drafting and reviewing rules, managing approvals, and providing reports to the Remuneration Committee.



Key Responsibilities



  • Manage and coordinate global share schemes, including grants, vesting, exercising, and lapsing of share-based incentives.
  • Work with Group Finance to fund share plans through new issues or market purchases and provide reports on dilution and headroom.
  • Maintain relationships with specialist external providers, including share plan administrators, EBT trustees, and auditors.
  • Advise HR on share scheme operations and associated activities.
  • Maintain participant information resources and communicate share schemes and awards to employees.
  • Monitor compliance with processes, reporting requirements, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the Group Director, Reward & Recognition, with executive remuneration, including compensation packages and valuation of equity arrangements.
  • Prepare draft papers and recommendations for the HR Leadership Team and Remuneration Committees.
  • Maintain induction materials for new members of the Remuneration Committee.
  • Support the review of external advisers to the Remuneration Committee and annual remuneration review for the Board and Executive Committee.
  • Provide data to support Stock Exchange Announcements and statutory reporting.


What You'll Need



  • Experience in reward management from executive to operational levels using leading methodologies and processes.
  • Relevant share schemes experience in a UK listed PLC with global schemes and good knowledge of statute, corporate governance, and emerging trends.
  • Recognised HR qualification (CIPD or equivalent) and/or Fully qualified Chartered Secretary and/or hold the ICSA Certificate in Employee Share Plans.


What We Offer


A competitive salary package (£90,000 - £110,000 per annum), STIP, and the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment.
