Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Enterprise Model Risk Manager to join our team in London. As an Enterprise Model Risk Manager, you will be responsible for managing model risk across the organization, ensuring that our models are accurate, reliable, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage model risk across the organization: Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to manage model risk, including data quality, model validation, and change management.
  • Ensure model accuracy and reliability: Work with stakeholders to identify and mitigate model risks, and develop strategies to improve model accuracy and reliability.
  • Comply with regulatory requirements: Ensure that our models comply with relevant regulatory requirements, including BCBS 239 and other industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain model inventory: Maintain a comprehensive model inventory, including details of all models used by the organization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with various stakeholders, including business units, IT, and audit, to ensure effective model risk management.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in model risk management: Proven experience in managing model risk in a financial institution or related field.
  • Strong technical skills: Excellent knowledge of Python, Excel, and other relevant tools and technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills: Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with regulatory requirements: Familiarity with regulatory requirements, including BCBS 239 and other industry standards.
