Education Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Education Support Assistant to join our team in York and surrounding areas.
Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of £85-£95 per day, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
Job DescriptionAs an Education Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and students in the absence of regular teaching staff. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing and supervising students, ensuring that pre-prepared work is completed, managing the classroom environment, and maintaining discipline and order among students.
You will also be required to provide support to students with their learning, assist with administrative tasks as needed, and follow lesson plans and curriculum guidelines. Additionally, you may be involved in providing one-to-one support to students who require extra help.
Our ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and engage with students effectively. You will also need to have a relevant educational qualification in a related field and prior experience working in a school environment or with children.
