Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Mentor to work with children and young people with challenging behaviour in East London. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with teaching staff to support the education and development of children and young people with challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide 1-2-1 support to students with challenging behaviour, using effective behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour and encourage participation in learning activities
* Collaborate with teaching staff and external professionals to develop tailored learning plans for students, monitoring progress and behaviour, and reporting any concerns
* Support the social and emotional development of students, promoting self-esteem and confidence
* Encourage and motivate students to engage in learning, providing additional support where necessary

Requirements:

* Previous experience working with children or young people with challenging behaviour is essential
* A relevant qualification in Psychology, Counselling, Education, or a related field is desirable
