About the Role

As a Prisoner Escort Officer at Serco, you will play a vital role in providing safe and secure court transportation and custody services. You will be responsible for collecting detainees from prisons or police stations and transporting them safely and securely to courts, ensuring the care of their physical and mental wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accompany defendants in court rooms and cells
  • Search property or people
  • Ensure food and drink is available
  • Complete paperwork and data entry for the day
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a current driver's license, C1 License (valid CPC card desirable) / D License (with valid CPC card & Tacho Graph desirable). You must be reasonably fit and have good written and verbal communications skills, using those skills to manage and control all situations.
