Secure Transportation Officer

As a Prisoner Escort Officer at Serco Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and secure transportation of detainees to and from court proceedings. This position requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Collect detainees from prisons or police stations and transport them safely and securely to courts
- Ensure the care and well-being of detainees during transportation and while in custody
- Accompany defendants in court rooms and cells, and ensure their property is searched and secured
- Complete paperwork and data entry for the day, and maintain accurate records
- Hold a current driver's license, C1 License (valid CPC card desirable) / D License (with valid CPC card & Tacho Graph desirable)
- Be reasonably fit and have good written and verbal communication skills
- Have a strong understanding of criminology and psychology, and be able to apply this knowledge in a practical setting
