Main Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing self-directed reactive and planned maintenance, observing machinery and equipment in operation, and locating root cause problems.

Key Tasks:
  • Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Identify and repair faults and defects in machinery and equipment.
  • Conduct device testing to assess performance and troubleshoot electrical circuitry and mechanical systems.
  • Source and obtain parts and supplies as required to complete maintenance tasks.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Activities to enhance process efficiency and cost savings.
  • Update and review Computerised Maintenance Management Systems to ensure accurate records and efficient maintenance scheduling.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the Maintenance Technician will require:

  • Certified technical qualification in a relevant discipline, preferably with an electrical bias.
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Computer literacy with experience of Microsoft applications.
  • Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
