**Job Title:** Clinical Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Healthcare Assistant to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. **About the Role:

  • As a Clinical Healthcare Assistant, you will work as part of a dynamic team to deliver direct care to patients and support registered practitioners in providing high-quality healthcare services.
  • You will be responsible for performing a range of clinical and non-clinical tasks, including phlebotomy, wound care, and vital sign observations.
  • You will also participate in patient assessments, provide holistic patient care, and escalate concerns to other clinical staff when necessary.

**Key Responsibilities:

  1. Obtain consent from patients prior to providing care, adhering to Trust policies.
  2. Perform delegated duties in line with clinic and day case requirements.
  3. Carry out clinical duties with minimal supervision, including blood pressure monitoring, oxygen saturation levels, and glucose monitoring.
  4. Undertake phlebotomy procedures to support outpatient clinics.

**Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a senior role.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and adhering to Trust policies and procedures.

**Salary:** £20,525 - £22,295 per annum, depending on experience.
