About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Peer Support Mentor. As a key member of our service, you will play a vital role in delivering trauma-informed care and support to participants.

Our service is commissioned by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and provides safe, accommodation-based housing and support for socially excluded individuals. We use a Supportive Relational Model, focusing on strengths-based, trauma-informed, and psychologically informed approaches, with co-production at its heart.

The successful candidate will have personal lived experience, including substance misuse, offending behaviour, homelessness, and other experiences that could support those with multiple complex needs. You will also have the ability to use, learn, and adapt to IT at an intermediate level, including Microsoft and other software programs.

In this rewarding role, you will work 25 hours per week, with three shifts per week (10 hours and 7.5 hours x2), scheduled on a rota between 9:00AM and 9:00PM, Monday to Sunday, including evenings and weekends.
