About the Role

We are recruiting a skilled and motivated Registered Theatre Practitioner to join our theatre team at The Cherwell Hospital, a modern 40-bed inpatient unit and day-case facility specialising in Orthopaedic Surgery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting surgeons, anaesthetists, and other theatre staff during surgical procedures and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing comprehensive support to theatre teams during surgical procedures
  • Contributing to the maintenance of a clean and safe operating environment
  • Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care
  • Participating in ongoing quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Registered with the NMC/HCPC
  • Previous scrub/Anaesthetics/Recovery experience (minimum 2 specialisms)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
