Operational Theatre Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Registered Theatre Practitioner to join our team at The Cherwell Hospital, a 40-bed inpatient unit and day-case facility predominantly specialising in Orthopaedic Surgery. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support throughout the surgical process.
Responsibilities- Assisting with surgical procedures and providing exceptional patient care
- Working closely with anaesthetists, surgeons, and other theatre staff to ensure seamless procedure execution
- Maintaining a clean and safe operating environment, adhering to strict health and safety protocols
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Registered with the NMC/HCPC
- Previous scrub/Anaesthetics/Recovery experience (minimum 2 specialisms)
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
- A passion for delivering an excellent patient-focus service
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Demonstrated computer skills
- Estimated salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience
