Support Worker Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Cecil Court, a specialist support service for adults with mental health needs. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals to live independent lives, promoting their well-being, and supporting them to engage in activities within the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals in engaging in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being.
  • Support individuals to develop their skills and confidence, enabling them to live independently.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide a person-centred approach, prioritising the needs and preferences of each individual.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.

Requirements:

  • Flexible and open to change, with a positive attitude and a 'can-do' approach.
  • Mental Health knowledge is preferred, but full training will be provided.
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to encourage and support others.
  • Ability to work variable shift patterns, including evenings and weekends.
