British Sign Language Specialist

We are seeking an experienced individual to work closely with our Special Educational Needs (SEN) provision, providing support for children with hearing impairments in classrooms.
The ideal candidate must have a strong knowledge and qualification in British Sign Language (BSL) Level 2 or 3, as well as the ability to commit to a full-time role based in Birmingham.
Finding the right candidate is crucial to our team's success, so we encourage applicants who possess excellent communication skills and a passion for working with students with Hearing Impairment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in improving students' learning and development by using BSL effectively.
- Support pupils with Hearing Impairment and contribute to their overall educational experience.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and support.
- Show dedication and commitment to making a positive impact on students' lives.
- Level 2 or 3 in British Sign Language
- Experience working with students with Hearing Impairments
- Passion for working with Special Educational Needs
