Climate Change Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Graduate to join our team as a Sustainability Consultant, responsible for delivering expert advice and support to clients on reducing their environmental footprint and achieving sustainability goals. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to develop their skills and knowledge in sustainability and environmental management, while contributing to our mission of making a positive impact on the environment.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct internal audits for clients with Environmental Management Systems in place against ISO 14001 requirements, identifying areas for improvement and supporting clients in implementing changes
* Develop Carbon Footprints for organisations, including Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions
* Support clients in drafting and implementing Sustainability Policies, complete with relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track progress
* Advise clients on reducing energy consumption and improving efficiencies through site visits and energy audits
* Collaborate with colleagues to deliver projects for larger clients, providing expertise in sustainability and environmental management
Requirements:
* Degree-level qualification in sustainability, environmental management, or a related field
* Strong writing, analytical, and reading skills, with ability to use Microsoft Office suite
* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel for client sites throughout Yorkshire and North West England
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to engage with staff at various levels within client organisations
