This is an exciting time to join Drax and you’ll be part of our Global BECCS Delivery programme. This is a permanent role and you’ll be based out of either London or Selby and to support flexible working this will be a hybrid-based role.

As the Programme Planning Lead you will create, own, and maintain a consolidated and integrated programme plan that will form an integral part of programme controls, ensuring the programme leadership has a single view of durations, key milestones, dependencies, critical path(s) and the overall cost profile.
You’ll be the discipline lead and SME for programme planning and play an integral role in creating the appropriate culture, management plans, tools & techniques to support Drax manage a fully integrated programme plan across a global, first of a kind, multibillion investment programme.
**About the role**
As the Global Programme Planning Lead, you’ll report directly to the Programme Office Director and work alongside the Programme Management Lead and Programme Risk Lead.
You’ll play a critical role in setting up the approach schedule and cost planning across the programme, making sure that we have fit for purpose standards, techniques and tools that are suitable for a diverse set of workstreams and projects at different phases of development.
You’ll need to work closely with multiple teams and understand their plans, to help create meaningful schedules and forecasts that can be baselined and updated with progress.
This role will be a central role in making sure the programme has a single version of the truth for time and cost, and that we are able to analyse the impact to our baseline plans through ‘what if’ scenario planning.
