This is an exciting time to join Drax and be part of our Global BECCS programme. This is a permanent role and you’ll be based out of either London or Selby and to support flexible working this will be a hybrid-based role.

As a Programme Management Lead working within Global BECCS you will be supporting Drax to operationally manage a global, first of a kind, multibillion programme. You’ll have extensive experience working closely with diverse and senior stakeholders and be prepared to get stuck in and drive things forward.

**About the role**

As the Global BECCS Programme Management Lead, you’ll be reporting directly to the Programme Office Director.

You’ll be responsible for 4 direct reports and making sure the programme is underpinned by robust programme management principles and that we set ourselves up for success as the programme grows both in scale and across multiple geographies.

This role will be critical in pulling departments and programme workstreams closer together, enabling collaboration and a fully joined up approach in the way we operate. The role will also be responsible for implementing the agreed governance (such as the programme Steering Committee), assurance and reporting across the programme and making sure we are efficient, organised, and well-coordinated.

You and your team will need to work closely with the discipline leads for programme planning and risk who will provide you with the information to help you understand how the programme is performing, help identify possible stumbling blocks and work collaboratively to resolve them.

A key part of your role will be overseeing the production of c-suite reporting and presentation materials, ensuring that reports / materials meet the needs of the audiences, are streamlined operationally, and contain a single version of the truth.

**About you**

***You’ll have significant experience working in a similar role, with proven large scale programme management and transformation experience and leadership. Drawing upon your experience you’ll enjoy running a Programme Management office. With your strong stakeholder management experience, you’ll motivate and engage with cross functional and multinational teams. Collaboration is key You’ll be getting people onboard with changes and new ways of working. Resilience and calmness under pressure will be key in this role as you will be dealing with fast moving areas of work. You’ll also need to have a high degree of emotional intelligence and situational awareness.
