Job Title: Occupational Health Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join our team at CV Library. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our construction projects are delivered safely and in accordance with relevant legislation.

The ideal candidate will have experience in occupational health and safety management and be able to provide guidance on health-related matters to employees.

£45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Clothing and Equipment: Provision and use of clothing and equipment in accordance with industry standards.
  2. Legal Compliance: Ensuring compliance with legal requirements affecting health, safety, and welfare, and ensuring adequacy of facilities provided.
  3. Inspections and Audits: Assisting the H&S Manager with regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure workplace safety.
  4. H&S Management: Assisting the Health and Safety Manager in inductions, toolbox talks, task briefings, and method statements.
  5. Collaboration: Collaborating with various departments to ensure H&S considerations are integrated into operational procedures and project planning.
  6. Safety Reporting: Adhering to the company safety reporting procedures.
  7. Training and Development: Identifying training requirements and providing subsequent training for all levels of employees.
  8. Communication: Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager responsible for safety.
  9. Environmental Awareness: Awareness of environmental issues within the construction company environment and adherence to the Environmental Manual policy and objectives.
