Occupational Therapist Assistant Job Description
Join Enhance Rehab's dynamic team as a skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant and help patients achieve their goals and regain independence. This challenging yet rewarding role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences.

About the Role
In this position, you will assist patients with all phases of occupational therapy treatment, develop and implement personalized treatment plans, and provide continuous communication with our multidisciplinary team. You will work closely with our occupational therapists to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve outstanding functional outcomes.

Responsibilities:
• Assist patients with various aspects of occupational therapy, including exercises, techniques, and equipment operation, under the guidance of our occupational therapists.
• Maintain accurate records of patient conditions, responses to treatments, and progress notes, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with our occupational therapists, Director of Rehab, and facility staff to coordinate patient care delivery and address any concerns or issues.
• Stay current with industry developments and best practices in occupational therapy to enhance your skills and contribute to our team's success.
• Participate in training and professional development activities to stay updated on the latest treatment techniques and protocols.

Requirements and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
• A COTA/L or OTA certificate or associate's degree from an accredited program.
• Previous experience working as an occupational therapist assistant, preferably in a rehabilitation setting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.

Estimated Annual Salary
