Clinical Data Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Data Specialist to join our team at Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Data Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of clinical data used for healthcare decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical coding and experience working with complex medical information systems. You will be responsible for reviewing and validating patient records to ensure that they meet national standards and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate patient records to ensure compliance with national standards and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to resolve coding discrepancies and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of clinical coding systems and procedures.

Requirements:

  • National Clinical Coding Qualification and Accredited Clinical Coder status.
  • Expert knowledge of National Clinical Coding Standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
