Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Customer Analyst to join our Customer & Retention department. This individual will leverage their expertise in customer analytics and modeling to drive positive change for our customers and business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Head of Customer to develop and implement data-led strategies for customer engagement and retention.
  • Design and deliver customer analytical solutions and machine learning outputs to anticipate evolving customer needs and improve personalization efforts.
  • Provide in-depth analysis of insurance market trends and develop creative solutions to increase engagement, brand loyalty, and lifetime value.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer engagement and satisfaction, and offer insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Work with data scientists to identify and quantify key drivers from new and established models, and develop actionable solutions.
  • Uncover new opportunities to enhance customer relationships in a competitive market, applying strategies for personalized deals, alerts, and notifications.
  • Identify and mitigate new churn triggers, and develop customer-centric solutions for implementation.
  • Collaborate with the customer research team to understand customer needs and preferences, and offer tailored suggestions for improvement.
  • Deliver insights that inform optimization of audiences, rewards, channels, propositions, campaigns, and incentives to meet evolving customer needs.
  • Develop compelling, actionable, and high-value analysis for data storytelling and decision-making.
  • Investigate various sources of information to influence and direct customer engagement strategies.
  • Take a holistic view of customer strategy, linking projects and initiatives across multiple teams to ensure alignment and performance.
  • Work closely with other comparison brands and products to deliver a unified customer view aligned with our group strategy.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer analytics or modeling roles.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, or SQL, with a proven ability to manipulate and prepare data for analytics and statistical modeling.
  • Experience utilizing CRM platforms to optimize retention and engagement performance.
  • Experience building and developing consumer behavior/segmentation models.
  • Experience with statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques.
  • Experience working with control groups and measuring campaign performance.
  • Experience working with marketing audiences across channels and apps.
  • Experience working with loyalty programs.
  • Demonstrated passion for using customer data and technical expertise to drive actionable insights and business impact.
  • Proven track record working with key stakeholders and influencing top-level decision-making.
  • Strong presentation skills, including the ability to translate complex data into understandable insights.
  • Degree or post-graduate level qualification in a numerate or programming-oriented subject, or equivalent industry experience.
