Job Title: Contract Data Migration Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Data Migration Engineer to join our team at Spectrum IT Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our project transformation team, you will play a crucial role in implementing and migrating to a new housing management system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality data models and storage solutions
  • Lead the data migration, support, and design activity on data management and business intelligence systems
  • Proficiency with NEC's data loaders and configuration is essential
  • Produce thorough documentation of source and target mappings
  • Maintain an information and data catalogue and a metadata repository
  • Handle information management testing and quality control for both new and existing projects
  • Develop and manage ETL workloads to ensure they run predictably and efficiently
  • Responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting all data management services and processes
  • Collaborate with IT, service vendors, and internal teams to ensure the high availability of insight services
Requirements:
  • Experience in designing and developing a data factory
  • Experience of other housing management systems such as Active H, Open Housing or Northgate would be highly beneficial
  • Experience with NEC housing management system and data loaders
  • SSIS / SSRS
  • Experience in identifying and mitigating issues and risks associated with their development work
  • Experience data modelling and a thorough understanding of logical modelling concepts
  • Experience with databases and analytics, including relational databases (e.g. SQL Server), Data Warehousing and business analytics tools
  • Write/develop SQL scripts to map data and then move into new HSM systems using application directly: NEC data loaders (experience is essential in this area)
