We are seeking a database migration engineer to take ownership of assigned areas of a system migration ensuring mapping, configuration and data quality are accurately generated predominantly using MSSQL.

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, lasting for the duration of the project and starting immediately.

You will be joining a Programme and Transformation Team as they continue with the successful implementation of Phase 1 of a Housing Management System (HMS) Project for a leading provider of care homes and affordable homes for those in need.

Working within a cross functional team, you will be the lead technical resource for data migration, support and design activity on data management and BI systems.

The Data Migration Engineer will also develop and manage ETL workloads to run predictably, efficiently and effectively.

You must have experience in designing and developing a data Factory with experience in identifying and mitigating issues and risks associated with their development work.

As a Data Migration Engineer, you should also have experience in data modelling and a thorough understanding of logical modelling concepts.

Experience with databases and analytics, including relational databases (e.g. SQL Server), Data Warehousing and business analytics tools is also required.
