About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Lamington Serviced Apartments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Maintenance Manager with daily upkeep of all hotel areas.
  • Conduct daily inspections of guest areas with the Maintenance Manager.
  • Maintain all aspects of the hotel, including minor repairs and painting.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance measures to ensure high standards.
  • Liaise with the Maintenance Manager to respond to maintenance requests.
  • Log maintenance issues using relevant software.
  • Comply with health and safety legislation.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to guests.

Requirements

  • General DIY knowledge and skills, including painting and decorating.
  • Excellent knowledge of housekeeping procedures.
  • Hands-on approach and passion for developing new skills.
  • Great communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
