We are recruiting a permanent Child Protection Social Worker to join our Children in Care Team in Barnsley on a full-time basis.
Salary: £42,614 per annum
About the role
This exciting opportunity involves working with children, young people, and their families/carers to build effective relationships and promote participation in decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments in accordance with statutory and operational standards
- Planning, implementing, and reviewing interventions for service users
- Managing a workload in line with ASYE requirements
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
- Engaging with colleagues and external partners to support the needs of children, young people, and families/carers
- Ensuring compliance with ASYE and HCPC registration standards
- Providing expert advice and guidance to stakeholders
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a social work qualification or equivalent, demonstrate knowledge of relevant legislation, and commit to ongoing professional development.
