Main Responsibilities:
- Care Delivery: Develop and implement high-quality care plans that meet the unique needs of each young person, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of care workers, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to drive excellence and improve outcomes.
- Safeguarding: Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection practices are maintained, adhering to all relevant legislation, regulations, and organisational policies.
- Reporting and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reporting on progress, and identifying areas for improvement to inform strategic decision-making.
- Communication: Foster effective relationships with young people, families, colleagues, and external partners, communicating clearly and respectfully to ensure collaborative working practices.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior youth care management role, with a proven track record of delivering excellent care and achieving outstanding outcomes.
- Qualifications: Hold a relevant qualification in youth care or social work, with a strong understanding of child development, behaviour, and welfare.
- Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and work under pressure.
- Awareness: Familiarity with Ofsted SCIFF, organisational policies, and procedures, with a commitment to equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practice.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is £41,540.76 per annum, with additional benefits including a 2000 bonus for an outstanding Ofsted report, full occupancy bonus, on-call payments, and pension scheme membership.
