Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Derivatives Regulatory Reporting Manager to join our team in West End London.

About the Role

  • This is a permanent position with a salary range of £75,000 - £90,000.
  • The successful candidate will lead the Derivative regulatory reporting team, providing hands-on experience and expertise.
  • You will intervene autonomously in various situations related to the good organization of transaction regulatory reporting.
  • Your responsibilities will extend across all regions.
  • You will follow the team's organizational structure, procedures, and support other members of the team less experienced in their areas of expertise.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deploy the management strategy and commit to its objectives.
  • Track progress of the team and report accordingly.
  • Be responsible for team governance and steering committee.
  • Participate in market groups with peers (ISDA, AMAFI, FSA, etc...) and run continuous follow-up on market best practices.
  • Interpret and transcribe regulations into Business Requirements Definitions tailored to business workflows and data models including their respective descriptions.
  • Continuously improve by categorizing and documenting diverse reporting schemas, improving their data quality, allowing audit trails, rapid interpretations, and better framing of work.
  • Record all events in management and audit tools according to their materiality.
  • Manage regulators' requests end-to-end, including analysis, liaison with business IT and/or Ops experts, drafting detailed and quantified responses to regulators with oversight from Compliance, organizing action plans when required, and coordinating delivery.
  • Prepare material and interface with regulators on topics of transaction reporting in ad-hoc basis and quarterly with the support of CCCO GM.
  • Act as an escalation point for internal issues.
  • Act as an expert in Regulatory Reporting and provide guidance and help whenever requested.
  • Actively participate in the delivery of major or complex regulatory reporting events such as Refit projects or new obligations, leading interpretation and documentation, acting as 'Stream Leader' when requested, and coordinating delivery/action plan.
  • Contribute to official internal committee preparation for its scope of responsibility.
