Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Therapy Assistant to join our Older Persons Service team. As a key member of our therapy team, you will work closely with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to older adults.
Main Responsibilities
Support the therapy team in assessing and managing patients with complex needs
Assist with rehabilitation programs to prevent hospital-associated physical and cognitive deconditioning
Participate in home visits and administrative duties, such as equipment ordering and organization
Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
GCSE level education
Basic skills in literacy and numeracy
Ability to work independently with daily guidance and supervision
Effective time management and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
