About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as the Academy Deputy Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a multi-award-winning company that provides excellent support to providers of care services in Hertfordshire and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Provider Engagement team to attract more members and support the Academy team across all service sectors.
  • Ensure the best rewards offer and engage with care providers to inform them about Academy services.
  • Speak to new providers about self-funding options and support the Academy Manager with launching new contracts.
  • Develop stakeholder relationships, attend events, and manage the team in the manager's absence.
  • Handle project management, collate and analyse figures for meetings, and contribute to the Academy's growth and success.
Requirements
  • 2 years' experience leading a sales or customer service team.
  • Experience in Health and Social Care is desirable.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project.
  • Self-motivated, with excellent ability to work on own initiative, independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enthusiastic, committed, proactive, and resourceful.
  • Excellent customer care skills and able to prioritise workload.
  • Ability to work under pressure without compromising the quality of work.
  • Ability to communicate with people of all levels across the organisation, as well as care providers and people working in care.
  • Excellent standards of written documentation with good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Own transport with insurance for business use is essential for this role, as travel around Hertfordshire may be required.
