General Medicine Specialist
Salary £96,963 - £128,841 per annum
plus Distant Island Allowance £1,349 per annum
plus up to £8,000 relocation expenses
Permanent Post - 40 hours
NHS Scotland is seeking a skilled Medical Professional to join its team of General Medicine Specialists. The ideal candidate will have a passion for remote and rural medicine and be keen to develop their skills and confidence within a supportive team.
The Western Isles offer a unique opportunity to combine modern and progressive clinical practice with a lifestyle that is difficult to match. The successful applicant will be based in a modern 97-bed Rural General Hospital and will have the chance to develop their skills and confidence within a supportive team.
The post is for 10 PAs (8DCC + 2 SPA) per week plus up to a maximum of 2 EPAs per week and an 8% availability allowance subject to an agreed job plan. The successful applicant will be required to register with the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) Scheme.
