Clinical Pharmacy Specialist Role

Develop a clinical pharmacy service in the Western Isles Hospital

This post offers an opportunity for a self-motivated pharmacist to contribute to the development of a clinical pharmacy service in the Western Isles Hospital. The post-holder will be responsible for the clinical pharmacy service to a number of wards, including consultant ward rounds, patient counselling, and multi-disciplinary working with ward-based medical and nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a clinical pharmacy service to improve patient care
  2. Work collaboratively with medical and nursing staff to provide high-quality care
  3. Contribute to the development of clinical services and projects
  4. Provide support and guidance to junior staff members
  5. Participate in multi-disciplinary training sessions and professional development opportunities
