We are seeking a skilled Bartender to support our team of hospitality specialists in delivering exceptional experiences at The Georgian, our world-renowned restaurant.
As a key member of our Front of House team, you will be responsible for delivering a world-class bar experience, working closely with the Head Bartender and Bar Manager to drive sales and service excellence.
Main Responsibilities:
- Participate in drinks and menu development, ideation, planning, development, execution, and feedback
- Work with the Head Bartender and Bar Supervisor to drive bar sales and service excellence
- Provide menu introductions to guests and make recommendations based on customer preferences, creating bespoke drinks as needed
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of beverages, classic cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks
- Adhere to the bar's dress code, uniform policy, and hygiene standards
- Learn and retain knowledge of cocktail menus, including drink contents, glassware, type of ice, and garnish
- Attend trainings for the team on drinks and beverage knowledge to support self and team development
About You
You will have a great understanding of the level of service expected in a fine dining environment, be reliable, and work well in a team, being a good listener and supporting others.
You are an excellent communicator, able to motivate colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the operation, maintaining company standards at all times.
You have excellent organizational skills, customer service focus, and the ability to work at pace while remaining calm and self-assured.
Key Qualifications:
- Strong customer service focus when dealing with internal and external parties
- Ability to work fast, set timelines, hygienically, while keeping tidy and organized
- Ability to look after multiple guests, interact, and remain engaged while preparing drinks in parallel
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to multi-task
- Flexibility and readiness to adapt to changing priorities
