About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our Estates department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the development of our maintenance resources to achieve effective Estates services management.

Main Responsibilities

  • Act as a leader and support the development of resources to achieve satisfactory and effective Estates services management.
  • Advise on electrical, mechanical, or building and environmental works concerning problematic areas, non-compliance with statutory or mandatory regulations, and risks to business continuity.
  • Undertake the supervision of labour, including time keeping, conduct, and maintaining proper standards of discipline.
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager in planning and actioning all remedial and planned preventative works.
  • Ensure the multi-skilled, multi-disciplined workforce is used effectively, in line with their skills, and promote the enhancement of those skills through on-site learning from other trades.
  • Ensure acceptable standards of workmanship from direct and indirect labour.
  • Responsibility for maintaining Estates equipment, premises, and plant.
  • Provide technical support to staff and be prepared to work directly on plant, equipment, and services as dictated by the workload, staff availability, or deemed necessary by the Maintenance Manager.
