About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our Estates department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, ensuring that they are safe, efficient, and compliant with all relevant regulations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of our maintenance team, ensuring that tasks are completed to a high standard and on time.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to prevent equipment failure and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address maintenance needs, ensuring that our facilities are always in good working order.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering role, with a strong understanding of building services and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
