Interim Head of Reward and Compensation

HW Interim Solutions is partnering with a client to engage an Interim Head of Reward where you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing the business' reward strategy.
This is a strategic leadership position where you will oversee the design, development, and delivery of comprehensive reward programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to align reward practices with business objectives and drive organisational success.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Execute a Reward Strategy: Design and implement a reward strategy that supports the company's goals and enhances employee engagement.
- Lead Compensation Structure Design: Develop and implement competitive compensation structures that align with industry standards.
- Market Research and Benchmarking: Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure reward packages remain competitive and aligned with industry standards.
- Reward Policy and Procedure Development: Create and maintain reward policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration and Expert Advice: Partner with senior leaders and HR teams to provide expert advice on reward-related matters and address any emerging issues.
- Communication and Data Analysis: Effectively communicate reward strategies and changes to employees, ensuring clarity and understanding across the organisation. Utilise data analytics to assess the effectiveness of reward programs and make informed recommendations for improvements.
- Senior Reward or Compensation Experience: Extensive experience in a senior reward or compensation role, with a strong track record of designing and implementing reward strategies.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and align reward initiatives with organisational goals.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organisation.
- Adaptability and Prioritisation: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
This role will be delivered on a day rate up to £800pd. Hybrid working – Yorkshire based.
