About the Care Assistant Role

A Care Assistant at Visiting Angels South East London requires a compassionate and friendly person with strong communication skills. The successful candidate's duties will include:

  • Personal care, helping clients to get up in the morning or prepare for bed in the evening, including a shower or bath.
  • Assist clients with dressing/undressing.
  • Prepare meals and snacks.
  • Help with laundry or light housework.
  • Support clients to access the community.
  • Prompting & administering medication.
  • Companionship.
